Welcome!
When I was 7 months pregnant with my son, my dad gave me 100 pounds of tomatoes. I figured it was a great time to stand over a pot of boiling water, and so I taught myself how to can. Now I have a basement full of jars and my kid is addicted to my homemade pickles! Follow me as I preserve the best of New Jersey's produce, and then invite me over- I love sharing my CAN-do attitude! Check out a short video of me canning in my kitchen, made by the Star-Ledger.
